South Korean Jazz Band ‘Modern Han ’ Gave 2 performances in Delhi

The three-day ICCR 4th DELHI INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL 2014 which took place at Chanakya Puri’s Nehru Park was all about the “feel” of Music as the jazz teams from different countries introduced the taste of Jazz to the Delhiites. 

South Korean Jazz Team called ‘Modern Han ’presented the wonderful combination of Korean traditional music and modern forms of Jazz at the festival  on Sunday, 30th March 2014 at 7 pm.

The next day in afternoon time 12:00 pm - 12:40 pm  at Auditorium of  Korean Cultural Centre,Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar-4,New Delhi the band 'Modern Han' again rocked the audience by giving superb and awesome performance of Jazz Music mixed with traditional Korean Folk music.

In Sun Cho played A-Jaeng(a Korean string instrument).She is leader of  Modern Han. Jeong Sung Jae played the Drum. Ahn Heun Young played Dae geum,Hankyu Park played piano and So Ra Sim was Singing. In sun Cho, So ra Sim and Ahn heun young are graduates of Korean Natiotional universitiy of Arts in Tadritional korean music. Jeong Sung Jae is graduate of  Modern music from Kyunghee University. And the leader Hankyu Park is a faculty at Korean National University of Arts.

at the end of the function the result of lucky draw held and the winners were honored by the hands of artists              of  'Modern Han'. The  Korean Cultural Centre India Lucky Draw winners are as follows:-
