This exhibition consists of the collection of Students' artworks from workshops held at the Korean Cultural Centre as well as the works of Artist Park Sung Yu from the ‘Unknown Journey’ Exhibition. More than 100 students had participated in the workshop which was held four times by artist Park Sung Yu during the time of exhibition. Therefore this exhibition is a result of the workshops along with Park Sung Yu’s works.
Park’s paintings’ elements are from Korean traditional paintings like flowers and grasses from a present day perspective. She explores wild flowers and grasses as subjects of her works which escapes the interest of the common and ordinary. In her artworks, these wild flowers and grasses are displayed in a dreamlike and surreal atmosphere and reflect the inner curiosity and feelings of artist who explores deep inside the world of nature.
